Last month Stacy Holman of Bare Baby Photography visited me for a 1 to 1 mentoring session. This was my first mentoring session after Baby as Art completed it's last workshop last year and I didn't realize how much I missed that teaching element! It was such a great feeling putting my teaching hat back on and we had an amazing mentoring session together. I cannot wait to get a couple more of these on my schedule! The 1:1 allows me to completely tailor the mentoring to each photographer's specific needs. In addition to mentoring at my studio, I'm also offering mentoring at photographer's personal studios here in the United States as well as abroad. We weren't able to go outside for this mentoring session due to cooler weather, but with spring in full swing we will definitely be venturing outside!
Here's what Stacy had to say about our time together: "Mentoring Brittany was amazing and I learned so much from her. I have been in business for almost 4 years and have spent countless hours researching newborn photography, composition, lighting, posing, camera settings, etc. I thought I had a good grasp on everything and still can't believe how much I learned from her. My only regret is not mentoring with her sooner because I could have saved myself so much time and headaches and could have spent that time with my family. If you are serious about wanting to really make your images into something amazing I would highly recommend mentoring with her. It feels so exciting to really feel that confidence I have always longed for. Brittany has also given me continued support after the 1:1. I realized there were things I had completely forgotten to ask her and she has been so kind to continue helping me with critique so that I can really perfect my work."
